The role of the school counsellor is delicate and precise. Students can come to them voluntarily to seek advice. If a student has a mandatory meeting with a counsellor, the goal is to improve the student’s situation for their own benefit. For a school, there’s no higher calling than improving the lives of their students academically, socially, and psychologically. Keeping this in mind the school has provisions for a counsellor who can be approached by the students as and when required.
