School Educational trips are important largely because they are a welcome break in the routine for both students and teachers. While their purpose is essentially to educate, they can also be a fun bonding experience for everyone involved. Educational trips always have a major educational element, but their extend is much further. The importance of these trips includes giving students the chance to build closer bonds with their classmates, experience new environments and enjoy a day away from the classroom.

Dr. Ram Singh, the Principal of the school always emphasizes on the importance of global exposure as it helps them wider their outlook and are well prepared for the real deal.
At the end of the trip the students shared their experience.Jas Preet Kushwaha and Sneha Pandey said that it was an exhilarating experience of having interaction with the astronauts in NASA.
On the other hand Abhay, Manas Singh Rajput and Ayush Pandey said that undoubtedly the experience of having interaction and lunch with the astronauts was an amazing experience.
Apart from NASA they were mesmerized by the Disney Land of Adventure land and the Hulk Ride and the Skull Island: Region of Kong in Universal studios.
On the whole the trip was an excellent learning experience for the children. The parents expressed their heartfelt thanks to the head of the institution because it was his brain to send the children as it would help
Dipsites of Ranchi on an Educational Trip to NASA(2016)
It was a dream come true for many of the young Dipsites when they visited the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) centre in Orlando USA. 25 Children of Delhi Public School along with 2 escort teachers had the experience of their life time when they were taken on an educational trip to the world�s leading aeronautics centre in the month of March. This was the second group that was sent from the cradle. The prime intention of this trip was to give the students a feel of the concept that learning happens best when one learns by seeing. Dr. Ram Singh, the Principal of the school always emphasizes on the importance of global exposure as it helps them wider their outlook and are well prepared for the real deal.
Nandini Maroo and Radhika Budhia said that it was an exhilarating experience for them as they stepped inside the premises of NASA. According to Mayank Tibrewal, Ishita Purwar and Ayushi Purwar the icing on the cake was undoubtedly the experience of having lunch with one of the astronauts.
Apart from NASA they have also visited the mesmerized of Abraham Lincoln and Martin Luther King. The show at IMAX was also enjoyed by the children.
On the whole the trip was an excellent learning experience for the children. The parents who had come to collect their children expressed their heartfelt thanks to the head of the institution because it was his brain child to send the children as it would help them to learn new techniques and assimilate the innovative things carried out there.
An Excursion to Kolkata
This educational and recreational trip to kolkata for two days was a beautiful experience enjoyed by the eleventh standard students. The trip consisted of visits to Science City, Cost & Management Accounting Institution and NiCCO Park.
A brief about the CMA course was given by the honourable spokesperson who addressed & guided the students about a career in this field.
An Excursion to Science City, Ranchi

On nineteeth February, 2016 students from the primary wing went for an excursion to Science City, Morhabadi. It was an enriching and learning experience for them as they saw 3D projection films and different amazing exhibits. Overall it was a day well spent which would cherish them with wonderful memories.
DPS Ranchi Children Exploring NASA(2015)
Education is not something which is restricted to the four walls of the classroom alone rather it is something beyond it. Learning happens best when we go for excursions and trips related to learning by seeing. Keeping this in mind students of DPS Ranchi comprising of 16 students and 2 teachers have gone to NASA. They are visiting various institutes in a place which is the leader in world space technology. Their joy new no bounds when they interacted with scientists and astronauts there. It was dream come true for many of them and many have also been motivated to pursue a career in this field.
Dr. Ram Singh, Principal, DPS Ranchi and a person known for his innovative skills in the field of education wants that the students should utilize this golden opportunity to assimilate the innovative things being carried out there. A comparative study is being made by the children between the education system of USA and their own country. This trip has just started and by the end of the trip they are surely going to come back with enriching experience.
