10 students of DPS Ranchi qualify in NTSE
10 students of Delhi Public School Ranchi emerged as NTSE scholars by clearing the First round of National Talent Search Examination.
It was a proud moment for the school that it had not only topped at the city level but also at the state level in the general category. 8 out of 10 students have qualified in the general category.
Spandan Mitra of DPS Ranchi has secured the 2nd position in the State. The other star performers are Sarthak Raj, Kaushik Kumar Pattnaik, Akshat Kumar, Chinmay Anand, Vedant Yash, Apurv Gaurav, Keshavee Nandan, Manikya Mayank and Ankit Kumar.
National Talent Search Examination is one of the most prestigious national-level scholarship programs in India. This scholarship program has been designed to identify and recognize students with high academic intellect. More than 5, 00,000 students appear for this scholarship exam every year, and 1000 scholarships are awarded.
Dr. Ram Singh the Principal of the school congratulated the students and said that it was a jubilant moment for the school and was elated to see the graph rising. He also ensured that all kinds of facilities to be provided to the students in order to help them climb the ladder of success.
The students expressed their gratitude to the Principal of the school and their teachers for their guidance and support.
Another Achievement Adds to the History
Adrijaa Sarkar (class-VIII) of Delhi Public School, Ranchi was declared the winner in the State level Painting Competition organised by Ministry of Water Resources, River Development and Ganga Rejuvenation Govt. of India.
The theme of the competition was water conservation.
On winning this competition Adrijaa was awarded with a prize money of 5000/-.
On the other hand giving a tough competition to the participants Ritiraj (class- VII) received the 1st consolation prize in this competition.
Adrijaa will be going to represent the school and the state at the National level painting competition, which will be held in New Delhi, in the month of March.
On their achievement Principal Dr. Ram Singh congratulated them and said that it was an opportunity for the students to showcase their level of creativity. He also encouraged the students to focus in this field and gave Adrijaa his best wishes for the next level.
Adrijaa and Ritiraj thanked the Principal for providing them the opportunity to showcase their talent and creativity and said that it was possible only due to the support and guidance of the honourable principal and their mentors.
Rayyan Shahid of DPS Ranchi in INMO from Jharkhand
Delhi Public School, Ranchi has once again emerged at the top position with Rayyan Shahid qualifying in Indian National Mathematical Olympiad (INMO) -2018. He is the only student from the state of Jharkhand to qualify in this Olympiad.
The candidates who have qualified in INMO-2018 will be undergoing a training programme in order to hone their mathematical skills for International Mathematical Olympiad which will be held in Romania.
The International Mathematical Olympiad Training Camp (IMOTC) - 2018 will be organized at Homi Bhabha Center for Science Education in Mumbai from 18th April, 2018 to 16th May, 2018.
