DPS Ranchi Students in France to be a part of student exchange programme
Six students of class VI- VII of DPS Ranchi named Archita Jain, Aditya Ranjan, Adhvik Mishra, Advika Singh, Asmi Anmol Homkar and Tejas Tanay got an unique opportunity to be a part of a student exchange programme with a school in France for 10 days. They visited the school named Lycee Jean Moilin in the Lille city of France and were welcomed by the French students with great warmth. Several activities were conducted in the school like cultural programmes, collage making Yoga etc. Interaction between the students of two nations was the highlight of this programme which they would cherish forever. These students got a once in a life time opportunity to visit EU Parliament at Brussels and interacted with the officers there who enlightened the students about the role and functioning of European Union. Entry to the well of this Parliament was a prestigious moment for the students. A visit to the largest aquarium of Europe, Nausicaa and a mesmerizing view of the English Channel added to this wonderful experience. Students were also taken to Paris where they learnt about the history of beautiful French monuments and climbed the great Eiffel Tower. Seine river cruise was an amazing experience for these young children.
This exchange program was a result of the vision and efforts of Principal Dr. Ram Singh for giving exposure to the students of DPS Ranchi to opportunities of global education and learning from their international experiments. He expressed his great pleasure and congratulated the students at the successful completion of this exchange program. He hoped that this great learning experience would prove to be helpful in shaping their future.
