DPS Ranchi wins School Level Painting Competition on Energy Conservation – 2018

DPS Ranchi on behalf of Ministry of Power (Government of India) organized a painting competition for the students of Classes IV- IX in its premises.

The competition was divided into two groups i.e. Group A and Group B. Students from Classes- IV- VI were in Group A and students from Classes VII- IX were in Group B.

DIPSITES proved their mettle in NTSE Scholarship

6 Students of Delhi Public School Ranchi have emerged as NTSE Scholars (5 dipsites from Jharkhand zone and 1 from West Bengal zone) clearing the second round of National Talent Search Examination (NTSE) 2018.

The students who have proved their mettle by their excellent performance are- Apurv Gaurav, Akshat Kumar, Kaushik Kumar Patnayak, Spandan Mitra, Srijan Shashwat and Anurag Kumar Jha. 

44 students qualified in NTSE Phase- I while 15 students have qualified in Phase- II from Jharkhand State. Out of which 6 students of DPS Ranchi brought laurels to the school by achieving this prestigious scholarship.

NTSE is one of the most eminent national- level scholarship examination in India. This scholarship has been designed to identify and recognize the students with high academic excellence. More than 500000 students appear for this scholarship exam every year and 1000 scholarships are awarded.

Dr. Ram Singh, Principal, DPS Ranchi congratulated the students and said that it is a proud moment for the school and also wished them luck for their future endeavours.

The students also expressed their gratitude to the Principal for providing them training and support.

DPS Ranchi wins CBSE Cryptic Crossword Contest 2018

The Ranchi city round Cryptic Crossword contest was held in the premises of Delhi Public School at Vivekananda Hall on 29th August 2018. Cryptic crossword is a contest that tests the analytical, numerical, creative ability of the students. It helps in making the analytical skill of the students very sharp which further helps them in developing a high problem solving ability.

In this contest DPS Ranchi Students came out as winners. The students were :

  1. Sneha Bansal.
  2. Shreya Lath.

The team which came our as runner up was the Surendranath Cetenary School . Students who represented the school was :

  2. Aditya Anshul 

The winners were given a certificate from Cryptic crossword and a memento. The runner up team and the winning team will further go to Delhi in the month of November- December for National Cryptic Crossword Championship.
